2012 Storm Debby

A HUGE THANK YOU to the ASPCA
for their generous support through this Tropical Storm Debby ordeal.  We received a disaster grant to help with the cost of emergency transport, healthcare and replacing lost hay.  Everyone at Riding Star Ranch is very grateful, especially our four legged friends!

Storm Debby of 2012 has
created a state of emergency at
Riding Star Ranch....

The pastures have flooded to the point of being unusable and we are in desperate need of donations to help care for the horses during this time....

6/27/12 UPDATE
Because of all of the media coverage, all of the horses have been relocated to dry pastures and are out of immediate danger from the standing water...

Our most urgent needs right now are financial.... Our feed bill alone regularly runs around $700 - $720 per week to care for all of these animals.  Because of the storm, our normal revenue from riding has been cut off and we are being hit with the additional burden of unexpected emergency costs.

UPDATE 8/20/12
We received notification today that we were approved for a disaster grant from the ASPCA.... A HUGE Thank You goes out to this wonderful organization!
