Riding Lessons
Riding Lessons are a specialty at
Riding Star Ranch!
Children and adults alike will have fun learning the proper way to care for, groom, and ride horses while earning ribbons through the AARS (American Association of Riding Schools) program.
We offer currently offer Hunter/Jumper, English Pleasure, Western Pleasure, Barrel Racing and Trail Riding discipline specific lessons in addition to basic horse care and riding.

$60 - 1 hour private lesson
$50/rider - 1 hour semi-private lesson (2 riders)
$150/mo - Lesson Membership (ride once a week; 4 or 5 lessons in a month)

In the case of inclimate weather, lessons do not have to be canceled. During bad weather students also have the opportunity to learn about many different topics related to horses and horse care. Some examples include: How to care for a horse, how to get a horse ready to ride on a horse trailer, how to braid a mane or tail, parts of the horse and tack, how to clean a stall or tack and many more educational topics!
