Riding Lessons


Riding lessons are a specialty at Riding Star Ranch!
Children and adults alike will have fun learning the proper way to care for, groom, and ride horses while earning progress ribbons along the way. Our lesson program was developed to enhance the rider's ability at an easy to follow pace.


We offer currently offer Hunter/Jumper, English Pleasure, Western Pleasure, Barrel Racing and Pleasure Driving discipline specific lessons in addition to basic horse care and riding.

Our riding instructors make learning fun for everyone!

Lessons are available Monday thru Saturday.

Ages 5 & up.
All ranges of riding ability welcome.


Lesson Prices
Private                                                                  $60
Private lessons are one hour, one-on-one
with one of our talented riding instructors.

Semi-Private Group                                             $50
Semi-Private Group lessons are one hour
lessons with two or more riders in the same lesson.

Kids 6 & Under                                                    $30
Kids 6 & Under typically ride for 30-minutes
and are hand led by one of our instructors or
a volunteer for safety.

All lessons include "tack up" time, so we ask that you please arrive with enough time before your lesson to get your horse groomed and tacked.

In the case of inclement weather, lessons will not be canceled. During bad weather students have the opportunity to learn about many different topics related to horses and horse care. Some examples include: How to care for a horse, how to get a horse ready to ride on a horse trailer, how to braid a mane or tail, parts of the horse and tack, how to clean a stall or tack and many more educational topics!
